Job summary

SRC Group is seeking an enthusiastic HGV Tip and Driver in Bury St Edmunds to join a busy team. You will deliver aggregates with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service, conducting daily vehicle checks and using digital tools to document deliveries.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence (max 6 points), valid tachograph and CPC, and strong communication skills. Training and benefits are provided in a family-run environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 HGV licence with no more than 6 points.
• In-date Driver Tachograph Card & Driver Qualification Card (CPC) required.
• Good communication, flexible and able to follow instructions within a busy team.
• Strong knowledge of southeast road networks and ability to work in/out of London as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV tipper to deliver products to customers and provide excellent service.
• Load/unload and tip goods; ensure proper vehicle checks and defect recording.
• Use tachograph, POD app and Sat Nav; maintain clean, professional appearance.
