Job summary

SRC Group, a family-run business, is seeking an enthusiastic HGV Tipper Driver with a Class 2 licence to join our busy distribution team in the UK. You will deliver aggregates and waste products, complete daily tachograph requirements, use digital tools and Sat Nav, and maintain a clean vehicle while delivering excellent customer service.

London work may be required. We value reliability, flexible attitude and good communication; competitive pay with 2 weekly pay, bonus incentive and Christmas

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 2 HGV Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must have an in-date Driver Tachograph Card & Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Needs strong communication, willingness to take instruction, be cooperative & flexible.
• Knowledge of southeast road networks; able to work in/out of London as required.

Responsibilities

• HGV Tipper Driver delivering products to customers with excellent customer service.
• Safe loading/unloading/tipping of aggregates & waste products.
• Daily walk-around vehicle checks and recording defects.
• Use driver defect App, electronic POD & Sat Nav.
• Drive safely, minimise damage and report incidents/accidents.
• Keep vehicle clean inside & out and adhere to laws and company policies.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Job Description:

• HGV Tipper Driver, to operate vehicle in a safe & professional manner, delivering products to our customers, providing an excellent customer service.
• Safe vehicle loading & unloading/tipping of multiple aggregate & waste products
• Be able to conduct daily walk round check of the vehicle & record defects.
• Ability to use a driver defect App, electronic POD & Sat Nav
• Accuracy & attention to detail required.
• Carry out deliveries in a timely & safe manner & provide excellent customer service, have a clean smart appearance and represent SRC Group in a professional manor.
• Drive the vehicle safely, minimising damage, reporting any incidents or accidents.
• Work in accordance with the law, highway code, environmental requirements & adhering to all company procedures, standards & policies.
• Operate a digital tachograph & have a clear understanding of tachograph & working time legislation.
• Keep the vehicle clean both inside & out, removal of contaminant from inside the vehicle body as required.
• Perform any other duty required by the company.
• 2 weekly pay, Bonus incentive, Christmas shutdown.
