Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Reading is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for permanent night shifts, 23:00–08:00, delivering goods safely and on time.

You will drive in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive, perform vehicle checks, and handle manual handling of customer products. Nights experience is desirable, with a pension and additional employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C) with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with night shifts is advantageous.
• Ability to drive safely and adhere to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently within Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Observe health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Regularly complete vehicle checks and maintenance checks.
• Manually handle customer products as required.

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

this Role Would Suit People Who

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
• Previously worked nights - desirable
