Driver Hire Blackburn is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to deliver aluminium and uPVC windows and doors from Blackburn to trade customers and building sites. You will manage multiple deliveries, ensure loads are secure, and provide a professional service on local and regional routes.

The role starts at 07:00 and is temporary/ongoing. A valid Class 2 licence and clean driving record are required, with a focus on safe handling and load security.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 / Category C HGV licence.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience with multi-drop or delivery work.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• A good attitude and reliable approach to work.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to safely handle and secure loads.
• Understanding of safe load security.
• Experience delivering windows, doors, building materials or other fragile products would be beneficial, but isn't essential.

Class 2 HGV Driver | Category C | Window & Door Deliveries | Multi-Drop | Blackburn

We're looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established window and door manufacturer based in Blackburn.

You'll be delivering aluminium and uPVC windows and doors to trade customers and building sites across local and regional routes.

What's the job?

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 2 HGV on local and regional delivery routes
• Delivering windows, doors and related products
• Completing multiple deliveries throughout the day
• Making sure products are securely loaded and safely transported
• Taking care when handling fragile window and door products
• Delivering to trade customers, businesses and building sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork when required
• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers
• Following drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations
