Driver Hire Blackburn is seeking a 26 Tonne Class 2 HGV Driver for temporary work. You will deliver to customers across local areas with around 6–8 drops per day, ensuring loads are secure and on time.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph Card, with previous Class 2 driving experience preferred. Temporary but regular driving opportunities and weekly pay are offered.

Class 2 Driver Wanted - 26 Tonne HGV | 6-8 Drops Per Day | £13.65-£19.90 per hour

Driver Hire Blackburn are recruiting an experienced 26 Tonne Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for temporary work delivering to customers across the local and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable Class 2 driver looking for regular temporary HGV driving work with a well-established distribution operation.

The Role

As a 26 Tonne Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers, completing approximately 6-8 drops per day.

Duties will include:

• Driving a 26 Tonne Class 2 HGV
• Completing approximately 6-8 deliveries per day
• Delivering goods to commercial customers
• Loading and unloading the vehicle as required
• Ensuring loads are secure and delivered safely
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Following all relevant transport and health & safety procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this Class 2 driving position, you will need:
