Job summary

The Best Connection Eastbourne is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for multi-drop deliveries in Eastbourne and the surrounding South East. You will drive a 12-tonne box vehicle, complete several drops daily, and maintain high safety and customer service standards.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate, weekly pay every Friday, and the potential for long-term or temp-to-perm opportunities through our network of branches.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering windows, plastic, aluminium and glass products to businesses across the South East.
• Completing an average of 4-7 drops per day.
• Driving a Class 2 (12-tonne box vehicle).
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and comprehensive vehicle checks.
• Using company devices to follow planned routes, scan deliveries and obtain PODs.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Driving safely and complying with all transport regulations.
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations at all times.
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

What you'll be doing
