Job summary

Aligra Bristol is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Weekend Night Driver to join a leading logistics client based in Severn Beach. This weekend-only role offers competitive hourly pay and the chance to contribute to the UK parcel network.

You will trunk between depots, transport palletised parcels across the South West, perform vehicle safety checks and complete delivery paperwork using handheld devices. Start times range 21:00 to 03:00, with 8–10 hour shifts and potential additional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous trunking, depot-to-depot or logistics experience preferred.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach.
• Good time management skills.
• Availability to work weekend night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunk runs between depots and satellite hubs.
• Safely transport palletised parcels across the South West.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices.
• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance during shifts.

We're recruiting HGV Class 2 Weekend Night Drivers to join a leading logistics client based in Severn Beach (BS35). This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for weekend-only work, whether you're seeking additional income or a flexible driving role.

As part of the transport team, you'll play a key role in keeping the UK’s parcel network moving. You'll complete a mixture of trunking and hub deliveries using modern, well-maintained vehicles, with the support of an experienced transport team.

Shift Pattern

• Weekend night shifts
• Saturday and/or Sunday
• Start times between 21:00 and 03:00
