Job summary

Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 driver on behalf of a leading general haulage company. You will operate 18T/26T curtain-side vehicles, deliver palletised freight nationwide, and ensure loads are secured for safe transport.

Qualifications

• UK Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement and CPC/Digi Tacho card required.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience with curtain-side trailers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised freight across the UK using 18T/26T curtain-side vehicles.
• Secure and strap loads; use tail-lifts and pump trucks as required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork accurately.
• Maintain professional standards and safe driving at all times.
