Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a well-established business based in Chesterfield. This role involves delivering and collecting goods across the UK, with approximately two nights away from home per week.

The position offers £17.11 per hour, £25.66 per hour overtime after 36 hours, and a £30 per night tramping allowance. Start times are Monday to Friday at 6am or 7am, with weekly pay on a temporary assignment.

Competenze

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Manual driving experience.
• Maximum 3 penalty points preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Willing to stay away for overnight stays.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Mansioni

• Drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.

HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) – Tramping Required

Location: Chesterfield

Hours: Monday–Friday | 6am or 7am starts

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a well-established business based in Chesterfield.

This role involves delivering and collecting goods across the UK, with

approximately two nights away from home per week.

An additional

£30 overnight tramping allowance is paid for each night spent away.

The Role

Driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.

Approximately two nights of tramping per week.

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.

Loading and unloading where required.

Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Following driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous Class 2 driving experience.

Manual driving experience.

Maximum 3 penalty points preferred.

Good geographical knowledge.

Comfortable with overnight stays away from home.

Reliable, punctual and professional.

£17.11 per hour.
