Tomlin Personnel Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for tramp work across the UK. Immediate start with opportunities at multiple depots and nights out when needed.

You will operate Class 1 HGVs, stay connected with the transport team, and ensure a clean, professional vehicle. A positive attitude and punctuality are essential for representing the company well.

Formación

• HGV Class 1 Licence with minimum 12 months experience.
• Up to date CPC for Class 1.
• Up to date Digi card for Class 1.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Class 1 HGV on tramp routes across the UK to manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate with transport team and communicate during shifts.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable and maintain good driver conduct.

Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based near Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site, plus some back hauling may be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is also vital part of this work. Our client also has various depots all over the UK, some of your night outs could be at the depots where you have better facilities as well.

Licence Requirements

• HGV Class 1 Licence (Minimum of 12 months experience)
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

• Days per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.50 ph (Umbrella)
• Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out
