Job summary

CTRG Limited are recruiting an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver for Tramping work at our Derby site. You will trunk palletised loads to grocers/backend customers and maintain high service standards with strong timekeeping.

Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience, valid C+E licence, CPC & Digi Card, and up to 6 points. Roles include day/night shifts with night-out allowances and a variety of shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Standard driver qualifications (CPC & Digi Card).
• Understanding of Drivers Hours & Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Written and driving assessments; drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Trunk full pallet loads to grocers and wholesalers.

HGV Class 1 Driver Role - Trampers

Location: Derby, DE55 2DT

Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramping). Trunking work with no manual handling involved.

Pay Rate:

£18 per hour (PAYE) + Night out Allowance

£21.17 per Hour (PAYE + Hol) + Night out Allowance

Job Type: Tramping work. No manual handinling involved.

Shifts: Various shift patterns available, start times from 0400

What You'll Be Doing:

CTRG Limited are looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support with the Tramping operation at our site in Derby.

You will be working for one of our most prestigious brands on the UK market, you will be part of a fast-growing team with an excellent fleet of vehicles available to you. You will be expected to Trunk full pallet loads to grocers and wholesalers, providing excellent service and good time keeping.

Candidates who apply must have a minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience.

Must have:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Standard driver qualifications required (CPC & Digi Card)

• Understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive
• Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Drivers must undergo a written assessment, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol screening

Rates:

PAYE rates (standard and RUH available)

Days £16.20 - £18.16 p/h

Nights £18.51 to £20.74 p/h

Overtime£23.14 to £25.93 p/h

6th Shift payment: £37.02 to £41.48 p/h
