Job summary

SRG Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Class 2/HGV2 drivers for regular work in the Portsmouth area. The role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries, loading and unloading, load security, and handling delivery paperwork with customers.

We welcome drivers from Multi-Drop, Skip, Tipper, Waste and related backgrounds. Flexible full-time/part-time hours with overtime and temp-to-perm opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Valid Category C / Class 2 licence for a minimum of 1 year.
Previous commercial HGV Class 2 driving experience.
Multi-drop pallet experience essential.
Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No DD / DR / DG / IN endorsement codes.
Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and WTD.

Responsibilities

Class 2 / HGV2 / LGV2 driving.
7.5 Tonne driving.
Multi-drop pallet deliveries.
Local and regional deliveries.
Electric and manual pump truck use.
Loading and unloading.
Securing and strapping loads.
Delivery paperwork and PODs.
Customer-facing deliveries.
Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
Drivers' Hours and WTD compliance.
