Job summary

SRG Recruitment Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Class 2 Skip/LGV Driver to join our transport team across Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton sites. You will collect and deliver skips, load safely, and maintain high safety standards.

Candidates should hold a full LGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and be familiar with tachograph rules and WTD. The role includes multiple drops, customer interaction, and KPI-driven daily operations.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 / LGV driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is essential.
• Knowledge of tachograph rules (digital) and Working Time Directive.
• Good knowledge of Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton routes.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting skips to/from customers, businesses and sites.
• Carrying out skip loading/unloading and ensuring load security.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Using a PDA to record collections and deliveries and maintain records.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Providing good customer service and liaising with customers and site staff.
