Job summary

Pure 4 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver for a busy pallet distribution operation based in Ely. You will manage multi-drop deliveries across the pallet network, loading and unloading goods and ensuring deliveries meet customer deadlines.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, physical fitness, and a strong customer-focused approach. A reliable, punctual candidate with local knowledge of Ely is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
• Previous experience in multi-drop pallet deliveries is essential.
• Experience working within a pallet network is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV to complete multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections.
• Work within a pallet line network, ensuring deliveries are safe and efficient.
• Load, unload and handle palletised goods as required.
• Plan routes and manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure delivery paperwork is accurate.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.

Pay: £14 per hour + holiday pay

Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 48 hours per week

Working Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm/6:00pm

• £14 per hour, plus holiday pay.
• Guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Start time: 7:30am.
• Finish time: typically between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on the workload and delivery schedule.
