Job summary

Simply Jobsworth in Harlow is seeking an experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join a well-established distribution operation. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, complete multiple deliveries per day, load and unload cages and pallets, and provide a professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• This role requires a valid Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Valid Driver CPC is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and understanding of drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle and perform multi-drop deliveries.
• Complete deliveries to commercial customers on allocated routes.
• Load and unload cages and pallets.
• Check goods against delivery paperwork and conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure deliveries are made safely and on time; provide professional customer service.
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to health & safety regulations.

We are recruiting experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join a well-established distribution operation based in Harlow.

The Role

You will be completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers across an allocated route.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle
• Completing multiple deliveries each day
• Loading and unloading cages and pallets
• Checking goods against delivery paperwork
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Completing all required paperwork
• Following drivers' hours, transport and Health & Safety regulations

This is a physically active role, so you must be comfortable with regular manual handling throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For

You will need:

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Good customer service skills
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Ability to manage your own route and workload

Previous multi-drop experience is preferred, particularly within foodservice, retail or distribution, but other Class 2 driving experience will also be considered.
