Peel Recruitment and Training Solutions Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Day Driver for a well-known company in the Runcorn area. The role is temp to perm with ongoing work.

The position involves general haulage of plastic pipes, delivering directly to customers, and early starts (04:00–05:00). Expect around 10-hour shifts and a weekly bonus of £100 if the week runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Cat C) is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Licence must have 6 points or fewer; DR10/IN10 codes not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to customers in the Runcorn area.
• Adhere to tachograph and safety rules during shifts.
• Work Monday to Friday; starts 04:00–05:00; approx. 10-hour shifts.

Job description

We're currently looking for a Class 2 Day Driver to join a well-known company based in the Runcorn area.

Temp to perm, ongoing work available.

Role Details:

• General Haulage (plastic pipes)
• Delivering directly to customers
• Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 - 05:00am, working till finish (45-minute break deducted)
• Average shift length: around 10 hours
• Weekly bonus: £100 per week, paid if the full week is completed without any major issues

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Monday - Friday: £16.24
• Saturday: £18.29
• Sunday: £22.50
• Bank Holiday: £22.50
• Overtime: £18.29

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (Category C)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR10 or IN10 codes)
