Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 2 drivers (CAT C) for TEMP-PERM with our well known client in the Carlisle area. This opportunity offers permanent position after 12 weeks, with shifts from 06:00 AM, Monday to Friday, and overtime after 8 hours.

You will deliver bedroom furniture to residential and commercial premises, with handballing required. Immediate starts available, daily vehicle checks, and professional representation of both client and Driver Hire

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedroom furniture to residential and commercial premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Perform handballing as required.
• Represent Driver Hire Carlisle and the client professionally, adhering to safety.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and rules.

HGV Driver - TEMP-PERM -CARLISLE

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 2 Drivers (CAT C )for TEMP-PERM with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role resulting in a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The role involves delivery of bedroom furniture to both residential and commercial premises . Handballing will be required.

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• Shifts run across Monday -Friday
• DAYS 06:00AM Start
• PAY RATE : £16.00-£21:00 PAYE ADV
• Overtime paid after 8 hours
• Average shift length 10-12 hours
• Temp-Perm after 12 weeks
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You'll Need:

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
• Reliable, punctually, and professional attitude

This role is ideal for a HGV driver seeking stable, long term work with the possibility of Temp-perm after 12 weeks
