Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver in Essex. The role offers early starts with 3am–12pm or 12pm–9pm shifts, Monday to Friday plus one Saturday per month at a premium.

You will drive a refuse vehicle on planned routes, working independently with full daily checks and excellent customer service. The position provides ongoing work with potential long-term opportunities and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes.
• Work independently without loaders or drivers' mates.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to driver hours, road transport and safety regs.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses.

• Location: Essex
• 18.00 per hour
• Shifts: 3am - 12pm & 12pm - 9pm
• Monday to Friday + 1 Saturday per month (Premium Rate)

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join a busy waste collection operation. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working independently and are looking for regular hours with early finishes.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned collection routes
• Working independently without loaders or driver's mates
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all driver hours, road transport, and health & safety regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses

Requirements
