Black Point Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to handle local waste collection routes. The role offers a stable, full-time position with early starts and consistent weekdays, on a pattern Monday to Friday.

Qualified drivers will hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with prior Class 2 experience preferred. Dustcart experience is a plus; driving involves safe, compliant local routes and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C).
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Dustcart/Refuse experience beneficial.
• Good understanding of UK Driving Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 dustcart on scheduled routes.
• Complete residential and commercial waste collections.
• Work with a team of loaders to ensure safe collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and road regulations.
• Complete route paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and reliable waste collection service.

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers for a busy and well-established waste management operation. Offering £18.82 per hour, consistent weekday shifts, and ongoing work, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, long-term employment.

As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for completing residential and commercial waste collection routes, working alongside a dedicated team of loaders to ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.

This is a hands‑on driving role within the waste management sector, ideal for reliable drivers who enjoy local routes and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled collection routes
• Completing residential and commercial waste collections
• Working alongside a team of refuse loaders
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and road traffic regulations
• Completing all route paperwork and vehicle documentation accurately
