Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is actively recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing temporary work in the United Kingdom. You will safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, perform daily checks and ensure compliance with road transport and health & safety regulations, while delivering excellent service to clients.

Shifts are varied with 24/7 operation; typical hours include early, day and night patterns. A UK CPC and tachograph card are required, with up to 28 days annual leave accrued.

Qualifications

• HGV C driving entitlement is mandatory.
• Full UK CPC is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card is required.

This local business needs HGV Class 2 drivers with ongoing work available.

Minimal handball required for drivers of curtain-siders and tippers for this bulk haulage business.

The successful candidate must:

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Comply with all road transport and health and safety regulations
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to clients

Duration: This role is temporary with ongoing work a possibility

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role offers £16 per hour with night, and weekend premiums paid. You will also accrue up to 28 days annual leavePlease note we are unable to offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: This business operates a 24/7 service and therefore a variety of shift times are available from Sunday to Saturday. Shifts typically are as follows:0600 to 14001400 to 22002200 to 0600

Experience & Qualifications
