Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing, flexible work across the UK. The role is temporary with potential for ongoing placement. You will safely operate Class 2 vehicles, perform daily checks and complete paperwork accurately, while meeting road transport and health and safety regulations. Night and weekend premiums apply, with up to 28 days’ annual leave. A valid UK HGV C entitlement, CPC and Tachograph card are essential.

Qualifications

• HGV C driving entitlement, full UK CPC and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year on licence with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.
• Ability to complete all paperwork accurately and comply with safety regulations.

Job description

This local business needs HGV Class 2 drivers with ongoing work available.

Minimal handball required for drivers of curtain-siders and tippers for this bulk haulage business.

The successful candidate must:

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Comply with all road transport and health and safety regulations
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to clients

• A HGV C driving entitlement
• A full UK CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year on the licence is required for this role with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.

This role is temporary with ongoing work a possibility

This business operates a 24/7 service and therefore a variety of shift times are available from Sunday to Saturday. Shifts typically are as follows:

0600 to 1400

1400 to 2200

2200 to 0600

This role offers £16 per hour with night, and weekend premiums paid. You will also accrue up to 28 days annual leave
