Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 drivers for the distribution centre in Warrington. Immediate assessments available with view to ongoing work.

You'll work a fixed 4-day shift on a 3-week rota, delivering fast perishable goods to stores across Central England. AM/PM starts and 12-hour shifts; PAYE rates from £17.30 to £25.95 per hour after 48 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV; min 2 years, driven Class 2 in past 6 months.
• Must hold a C entitlement, CPC, and Digi Card.
• Clean licence with zero points or convictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast perishable goods to stores across Central England.
• Roll goods into stores on dollies using manual handling where required.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Drivers to work out of clients our distribution centre in Warrington.

For the successful Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver, we have immediate assessments available with the view to ongoing work.

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / C / LGV 2 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Working on a set 4 day shift per week (working on a 3 week rota)
• Deliveries of fast perishable goods to stores covering Central England
• You will be expected to roll the goods into the stores on dollies

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver role, you will need:

• Experience of driving HGV vehicles (Minimum 2 years and driven Class 2 in the past 6 months)
• Hold a valid C entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
• Clean Licence with zero points or convictions

This is a Monday to Sunday operation

AM & PM Shifts available, AM Starts 0200 - 0800, PM Starts 1400 - 2000

Average 1-8 drops per shift

Average 12 hours per shift

Rates of pay start at £17.30 per hour of which increases to £25.95 per hour after 48 hours - these are all PAYE rates
