Job summary

Pertemps Crewe is recruiting Class 2 Drivers for ongoing full-time work at a distribution centre in Warrington. You will deliver fast perishable goods to stores across Central England, using dollies to move items into premises.

We require a minimum of two years’ HGV driving experience, a valid C entitlement, CPC and Digi Card, and a clean licence with no points. Shifts are 4 days per week on a 3-week rota with PAYE pay rates.

Qualifications

• Two years of HGV driving experience with a Class 2 licence in the past six months.
• CPC and Digi Card required; clean licence with zero points.
• Willingness to work on a rotating 4-day schedule.

Working a set four-day shift each week on a three-week rota, successful candidates will deliver fast perishable goods to stores across Central England, rolling items into premises on dollies.

Applicants need at least two years of HGV driving experience, including Class 2 work within the past six months, plus a valid C entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card. A clean licence with no points is essential.

Pay ranges from £17.30 to £25.95 per hour.

Immediate assessments are available, with ongoing placements offered to suitable drivers.

For the successful Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver, we have immediate assessments available with the view to ongoing work.

Responsibilities

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / C / LGV 2 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Working on a set 4 day shift per week (working on a 3 week rota)
• Deliveries of fast perishable goods to stores covering Central England
• You will be expected to roll the goods into the stores on dollies

Requirements

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver role, you will need:

• Experience of driving HGV vehicles (Minimum 2 years and driven Class 2 in the past 6 months)
• Hold a valid C entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
• Clean Licence with zero points or convictions

• This is a Monday to Sunday operation AM & PM Shifts available, AM Starts 0200 - 0800, PM Starts 1400 - 2000 Average 1-8 drops per shift Average 12 hours per shift
• Rates of pay start at £17.30 per hour of which increases to £25.95 per hour after 48 hours - these are all PAYE rates
