Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is recruiting for Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 drivers to operate from a Warrington distribution centre. The role offers a 4-day week on a 3-week rota with day and night shifts. Typical duties include delivering fast perishable goods and maneuvering loads with dollies.

Applicants must have minimum 2 years HGV experience, a valid C entitlement, CPC and Digi Card, and a clean licence with no points. PAYE rates start at £17.30/hr and rise to £25.95/hr after 48 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience of driving HGV vehicles (Minimum 2 years and driven Class 2 in the past 6 months).
• Hold a valid CPC card and Digi Card.
• Clean Licence with zero points or convictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries of fast perishable goods to stores covering Central England.
• Roll the goods into the stores on dollies.
• Operate on a set 4 day shift per week (3 week rota).

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Drivers to work out of clients our distribution centre in Warrington.

For the successful Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver, we have immediate assessments available with the view to ongoing work.

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / C / LGV 2 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Working on a set 4 day shift per week (working on a 3 week rota)
• Deliveries of fast perishable goods to stores covering Central England
• You will be expected to roll the goods into the stores on dollies

For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver role, you will need:

• Experience of driving HGV vehicles (Minimum 2 years and driven Class 2 in the past 6 months)
• Hold a valid C entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
• Clean Licence with zero points or convictions

Details for this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Driver role:

• This is a Monday to Sunday operation
• AM & PM Shifts available, AM Starts (Apply online only), PM Starts (Apply online only)
• Average 1-8 drops per shift
• Average 12 hours per shift
• Rates of pay start at £17.30 per hour of which increases to £25.95 per hour after 48 hours - these are all PAYE rates
