Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well‑established distribution operation delivering frozen goods to customers. You will typically complete 1–5 deliveries per day, with Monday to Friday shifts, early starts, and minimal handballing.

This temporary role offers an umbrella rate up to £22 per hour (PAYE up to £16.50), 28 days’ holiday pro rata, and consistent weekday hours. Start dates are immediate; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• A valid UK Driver CPC Card.
• A reliable and professional approach.
• The ability to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

We’re currently recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join an established distribution operation, delivering frozen goods to customers.

With regular Monday-to-Friday work, manageable delivery volumes and minimal handballing, this is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering palletised and caged frozen goods to customers, typically completing between 1 and 5 deliveries per day.

The role involves minimal handballing, making it ideal for drivers looking for regular delivery work with limited manual handling.

Your duties will include:

Delivering frozen goods to customers

Completing approximately 1–5 deliveries per shift

Handling palletised and caged goods

Carrying out vehicle checks

Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely

Completing deliveries professionally and within the required timeframes
