Job summary

Corus Consultancy in Horsham is recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 licence. The role is primarily warehouse-based with occasional driving duties to cover routes for the transport team.

You will pick/pack, check and store stock, assist with stock control, and maintain a safe, tidy warehouse environment, with forklift training offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Flexible approach, happy to work mainly in the warehouse with occasional driving duties to cover as required.
• Forklift licences are useful but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
• Supporting stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
• Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover when required (local multi-drop routes)
• Loading vehicles safely and completing delivery paperwork

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 licence for our client based in Horsham .

This is a primarily warehouse-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work but is also happy to step into a driving role when required.

Youll support the transport team by covering delivery routes during holidays and absence, helping maintain excellent service to customers .

The job will involve

The ideal candidate will posess the below .

• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-focused attitude
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Valid Forklift licences (Counterbalance and/or Reach would be useful but training can be provided)
