Job summary

Corus Consultancy is recruiting for a reliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 license for our client based in Horsham. The role is primarily warehouse-based with occasional driving to cover routes and support the transport team.

You will pick, pack, dispatch orders, receive and store stock, and assist stock control while upholding health and safety standards. Local multi-drop delivery cover and paperwork are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse environment and a valid HGV Class 2 licence are essential.
• Flexibility to cover driving duties when required and to work mainly in the warehouse.
• Good health and safety practices and team orientation are required.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock; supporting stock control.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover for local routes when needed; loading vehicles and completing paperwork.
• Delivering a professional, customer-focused service at all times.

We are currently recruiting for areliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with a valid HGV Class 2 licence for our client based in Horsham .

This is a primarily warehouse-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work but is also happy to step into a driving role when required. You'll support the transport team by covering delivery routes during holidays and absence, helping maintain excellent service to customers .

The job will involve

* Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
* Supporting stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
* Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover when required (local multi-drop routes)
* Loading vehicles safely and completing delivery paperwork
* Delivering a professional, customer-focused service at all times

The ideal candidate will posess the below .

* Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Flexible approach - happy to work mainly in the warehouse with occasional driving duties to cover as required
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-focused attitude
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Valid Forklift licences (Counterbalance and/or Reach would be useful but training can be provided)
