Job summary

Corus Consultancy is recruiting a Warehouse worker with a Class 2 driving licence for our client in Horsham. You will pick, pack, and dispatch orders, receive stock, and assist with stock control.

The role includes occasional driving to cover local deliveries, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer-focused service. Forklift training can be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Flexible approach – mainly warehouse with occasional driving duties.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and team-focused attitude.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Forklift licences useful but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, check, and store incoming stock.
• Support stock control and inventory checks; maintain warehouse organisation.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment.
• Provide HGV Class 2 delivery cover for local multi-drop routes; load vehicles and complete delivery paperwork.

The job description

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock
• Supporting stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
• Providing HGV Class 2 delivery cover when required (local multi-drop routes)
• Loading vehicles safely and completing delivery paperwork

The ideal candidate would possess the below

• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Flexible approach – happy to work mainly in the warehouse with occasional driving duties to cover as required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-focused attitude
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Valid Forklift licences (Counterbalance and/or Reach would be useful but training can be provided)
