Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd on behalf of our client is seeking Class 2 drivers for night-out roles in Goole/Doncaster. Roles involve nationwide kitchen deliveries with a driver's mate on every route, Monday to Friday shifts and immediate starts. Training is provided and there are multiple vacancies.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with a minimum 6 months’ experience and up to 6 penalty points. Overnight nights out are part of the delivery schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence (Cat C) is required.
• CPC Qualification Card must be held.
• Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR/IN convictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver kitchens nationwide across the UK.
• Complete between 1 and 10 drops per day.
• Work with a dedicated driver's mate on every route.
• Perform manual handling of kitchen units safely.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Follow all site safety procedures.

Class 2 Driver - Nights out (Cat C) positions are available in Goole through Manpower UK, paying up to £17.00 per hour. This temporary role involves delivering kitchen products across the UK, with a driver's mate assisting on every route. Pay & Benefits

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering kitchen products to: Retail locations Residential home delivery customers New build construction sites

Duties

• Delivering kitchens nationwide across the UK
• Completing between 1 and 10 drops per day
• Working alongside a dedicated driver''s mate
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of kitchen units
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Following all site safety procedures

Nights Out

• Typically 1-4 nights out per week
• Modern vehicles with separate bunk beds for both driver and driver's mate
• Night out allowance paid at £25.00 per night

Shift Information

• Monday to Friday operation
• Optional Sunday shifts available
• Start times between 04:30 and 06:30
• Ongoing work until the end of September

Our client offers a comprehensive induction process to ensure you''re fully prepared: Driving assessment 3-day onsite training programme including: Warehouse tour Showroom tour PDA training Offloading procedures 2 days on the road with an experienced driver Week 2 working independently with your own driver's mate

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• PPE and Uniform
• Safety boots required
