The position is a one-month assignment with potential for extension, offering £14.71 per hour and weekly pay. Shifts typically run overnight, with longer hours possible depending on routes and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Multi-drop experience preferred.
• Flexible and reliable approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle for multi-drop deliveries.
• Complete deliveries efficiently and on time.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with driving and working time regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork.

Night Shifts | 9:30pm–10:00pm Starts

Sutton Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a night shift role based in Middleton-on-the-Wolds. This position is initially for a one-month assignment, with the potential for extension depending on business requirements.

The Role:

• Night shift deliveries with 9:30pm–10:00pm starts
• Finish times vary depending on delivery routes
• Multi-drop deliveries to various locations
• Some shifts may involve double manning
• Longer shifts can occur (occasionally 15–16 hours)
• Full-time hours with the potential for the assignment to be extended

Pay & Benefits:

Driver Requirements:
