Gregory Distribution Ltd. is hiring a Class 2 Driver for Haverfordwest. You will operate refrigerated vehicles (3.5T–18T) with a tail lift to perform multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across West Wales, Swansea to surrounding areas.

The role requires a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence, DCPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Training is provided; excellent customer service and time management are essential for on-time deliveries.

• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred but training provided.
• Strong customer service and professional brand representation at every stop.

Responsabilidades

• Operate refrigerated vehicles 3.5T–18T with tail lift for multi-drop milk cage deliveries to West Wales stores.
• Safely unload cages and move them to store entrances at each delivery point.
• Complete up to 12 drops per day with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured using straps, nets, and other devices.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
• Communicate with transport team to provide progress updates and meet customer expectations.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

Competitive Salary

£15.00 per hour. Plus, for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.

About The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Operate refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5T to 18T with use of a tail lift to make multi drop milk cage deliveries to retail stores throughout West Wales, from Swansea to
• Safely unload cages from the vehicle and move them to the store entrance at each delivery point, ensuring efficiency and proper handling.
• Complete up to 12 drops per day, maintaining accuracy and timeliness across all deliveries.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• You must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) Licence, and be comfortable operating refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 18 tonnes.
• A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to get you up to speed.

• You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.

• A good understanding of UK road networks, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions, will help you navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.
