Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking a Temporary Flexible HGV Class 2 Driver to support ad-hoc summer deliveries in Quedgeley. You may start between 04:00–10:00, depending on location, with pay rates £14.50ph and £16ph on weekends. Roles suit drivers seeking flexible, seasonal work and potential progression.

Role includes manual handling, a customer-focused approach, and basic paperwork duties. New Pass Drivers welcome; dates shared after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Normally one or two drops per run.
• Assist with offloading.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.

Temporary Flexible HGV Class 2 Driver wanted in Quedgeley paying £14.50ph and £16ph weekends, to work ad-hoc events over the summer Monday to Sunday with starts around 04:00 to 10:00 depending on delivery location, this is for temporary driver who want flexibility when selecting work, dates required will be shared once onboarded with Pertemps, New Pass Drivers Welcome!

Duties

• Happy to drive Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Normally one or two drops maximum
• You will need to give some assistance with offloading
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
