Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting an HGV 7.5T Driver to join a well-established Gloucester wholesaler. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, loading/unloading with a tail lift, and delivering excellent customer service on every shift.

Shifts Monday to Friday start around 04:00–07:00 and pay £14.00 per hour. This is an ad-hoc ongoing assignment with temp-to-perm prospects for the right candidate; New Pass Drivers welcome, with full uniform and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10+ drops per day).
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and sack truck.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy.
