Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver for a well-established wholesaler in Hereford. Temporary flexible position with an immediate start and temp-to-perm potential. Starts around 07:00, Monday to Friday. Eligible drivers may be new or experienced, with full training provided and ongoing support.

Expect regular shifts with a minimum 8 hours pay per shift and opportunities to upskill license qualifications. Uniform and PPE supplied, with 24/7 transport consultant support.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Deliver up to 12 drops per shift.
• Assist with offloading using tail lift.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.

Your Duties:

• Happy to drive Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• Normally two to twelve drops maximum
• You will need to give some assistance with offloading by using a tail lift
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

Requirements:
