Job summary

Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver- Frontline Services in Bucksburn with immediate starts and ongoing work. This hands-on role combines driving with essential labouring duties to keep roads safe and operational.

You will clear fuel spillages, remove debris, and deal with fallen trees. Training will be provided to operate gritters and snow ploughs, with on-call requirements and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence and CPC are required.
• Physically fit and willing to perform labouring duties.
• Digi tac note on frontline services work (noted).

Based Bucksburn - Immediate starts, ongoing work

We are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers. This is hands-on role that combines driving with essential labouring tasks to keep our roads safe and operational. You will be involved in clearing fuel spillages, removing debris, dealing with fallen trees, and more. Training will also be provided to operate gritters and snow ploughs.

Shift & Hours: - flexibility required

• Week nights - week days - alternates
• Every second week your on call; may require early starts, late finishes
• Night work may be required during bad weather (snow/ice)

Pay Rates:

• Basic £16.80 p/hr basic
• OT/Night Rate/Sat Rate: £21.50 p/hr
• Sun Rate: £25 p/hr
• Daily standby payments during on-call periods
• Domestic hours apply

Contract: immediate and ongoing throughout the Winter, with potential temp to perm for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Class 2 driving licence, CPC, - digi tac (n/a - frontline services work)
• Physically fit, capable and willing to handle the necessary labouring duties
