Driver Hire is seeking Class 2 Drivers for an immediate and ongoing position based in Bucksburn, Aberdeen. The role combines driving with essential labouring tasks to keep roads safe, including clearing spillages, debris removal, and operating gritters when trained. Monday to Friday 8am–4pm with on-call every second week and possible early starts or weekend work.

Based Bucksburn – Immediate starts, ongoing work

We are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers. This is hands-on role that combines driving with essential labouring tasks to keep our roads safe and operational. You will be involved in clearing fuel spillages, removing debris, dealing with fallen trees, and more. Training will also be provided to operate gritters and snow ploughs.

Shift & Hours: – flexibility required

• Mon – Fri, 8am – 4pm

Every second week on-call; may require early starts, late finishes, and weekend work

Night work may be required during bad weather (snow/ice)

Pay Rates:

Daily standby payments during on-call periods

• Domestic hours apply – great earning potential.

Contract: immediate and ongoing throughout the Winter, with potential temp to perm for the right candidate.

Requirements:

Class 2 driving licence, CPC, – digi tac

Physically fit, capable and willing to handle the necessary labouring duties
