Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring skilled Class 2 drivers to join our Northampton team on a full-time basis. You will work a 48-hour week on a 4 on, 2 off shift pattern with start times between 04:00 and 06:00.

The role offers growth, benefits, and a supportive team, including a company pension and access to GXO University. Deliveries and collections on customer premises are core duties, with strict safety and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence (LGV C) and up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects to the transport team.
• Ensure all delivery documentation, including PODs and manifests, is completed accurately.
• Comply with GXO Health & Safety policies, transport legislation, and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, including vehicle cleanliness and customer service.
