Job summary

Gregory Group in Wales is hiring a Class 2 Driver based in Haverfordwest. Shifts start at 05:00, working five days a week on a rota with weekend premiums available and overtime. You will operate refrigerated 3.5–18T vehicles, delivering to retail stores across West Wales and Swansea corridor.

You will unload cages, secure loads, complete up to 12 drops per day, and perform daily vehicle checks. Training and DCPC updates are provided to support safe, compliant deliveries and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence and be comfortable handling 3.5–18 t refrigerated vehicles.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated vehicles from 3.5T to 18T with tail lift for multi-drop milk cage deliveries to retail stores in West Wales.
• Unload cages safely and position at store entrances.
• Complete up to 12 drops per day with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure loads are secured using straps and nets.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
• Stay in regular contact with the transport team and participate in training sessions.

5 days per week on a rota basis, working between Monday and Saturday, with a start time of 05:00hrs.

Competitive Salary

£36,441 per annum - £40,771 per annum, depending on hours worked, with additional premium payments for weekend work, nights, Bank Holidays and additional shifts, allowing you to boost your earnings throughout the year.

About The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Operate refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5T to 18T with use of a tail lift to make multi drop milk cage deliveries to retail stores throughout West Wales, from Swansea to
• Safely unload cages from the vehicle and move them to the store entrance at each delivery point, ensuring efficiency and proper handling.
• Complete up to 12 drops per day, maintaining accuracy and timeliness across all deliveries.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• You must hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) Licence, and be comfortable operating refrigerated vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 18 tonnes.
• A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided to get you up to speed.
