Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for regular daytime work in Ilkeston. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, ensuring on-time customer satisfaction and maintaining professional customer interactions.

Role is temporary with ongoing work available. PAYE rate £16.00 per hour; Monday–Friday daytime shifts; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• A reliable and professional approach.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, ensuring goods reach customers on time and in good condition.
• Drive regularly alongside delivery duties and maintain a professional approach with customers.

We’re currently recruiting reliable Class 2 Drivers for an established operation based in Ilkeston, offering regular work and a competitive rate of pay.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, ensuring goods reach customers on time and in good condition.

The role involves regular driving alongside delivery duties, so you’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing your daily route and maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers.
