Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd in Dunstable is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a permanent, full-time role. You will join a delivery team at our Dunstable distribution centre (LU5 5TA) on a 4 on/4 off pattern, with start times between 02:00 and 07:00 and a 40.25 hour work week.

Salary is £36,024.42 annually with overtime, holiday pay, and a workplace pension. The role emphasizes customer service, safe deliveries, and compliance with CPC/training requirements.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C licence with CPC and tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely, and safe deliveries, including multi-drop routes within delivery windows.
• Deliver totes to retail locations, offload goods, complete paperwork, and collect returns or waste.
• Secure loads and follow all safety procedures to minimise damage.
• Provide excellent customer service and report vehicle defects; attend required CPC training.
