Job summary

Barker Ross Group in Wigan is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for day shifts starting at 4–5am, with 3–4 shifts per week. The role may become permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidate and involves multi-drop work, cages, lifting, and walking.

Applicants must hold a valid UK CPC and Tacho card, be able to drive manual, pass a DBS check, and have no more than 6 points on their licence. DBS required; automatic vehicles only.

Class 2 Driver | £15.58 PH | Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat | 3-4 shifts per week | WN4 Wigan | 4-5am Starts

Barker Ross are recruiting for Class 2 drivers in Wigan, this role could become permanent for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

No experience required but must hold valid uk cpc + tacho

DRIVERS MUST BE CONFIDENT DRIVING MANUAL ALSO

Key details:

• HGV2 driving work
• 3-4 shifts per week
• Day shifts
• Multidrop - Cages - avg 8 per day
• 4-5am starts but mainly 4am - Finishing each shift around 1pm
• Must be physically fit
• CPC + Tacho card required
• Potential of a permanent contract for a suitable driver
• Food delivery
• We will submit a CRB check for successful drivers
• Lots of walking involved 10-20k steps per day
• Tail lift
• MUST PASS DBS CHECK
• Automatic vehicles only

Requirements:

• New pass welcome
• No more than 6 pts on licence
• NO IN10 or DR10
• Must pass dbs check
• NO CU80 on licence
