Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting Class 2 drivers for a Wigan-based role with immediate starts and potential permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Role involves HGV2 multi-drop work with cages, average 8 drops per day, 4-5am starts, and finishing around 1pm. No experience required but must hold valid UK CPC and Tachograph cards; driving manual; DBS check required; occasional walking and tail lift duties may apply.

Barker Ross are recruiting for Class 2 drivers in Wigan, this role could become permanent for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

No experience required but must hold valid uk cpc + tacho

DRIVERS MUST BE CONFIDENT DRIVING MANUAL ALSO

Key details:

• HGV2 driving work
• 3-4 shifts per week
• Day shifts
• Multidrop - Cages - avg 8 per day
• 4-5am starts but mainly 4am - Finishing each shift around 1pm
• Must be physically fit
• CPC + Tacho card required
• Potential of a permanent contract for a suitable driver
• Food delivery
• We will submit a CRB check for successful drivers
• Lots of walking involved 10-20k steps per day
• Tail lift
• MUST PASS DBS CHECK
• Automatic vehicles only

Requirements:

• CPC + Tacho card in date (UK)
• New pass welcome
• No more than 6 pts on licence
• NO IN10 or DR10
• Must pass dbs check
• NO CU80 on licence
