Job summary

Fifth Recruitment are seeking a Class 2 Driver to operate a skip (hookloader) vehicle in Rochford. You will deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites while adhering to safety procedures and working a 06:30–start schedule with optional Saturday overtime.

Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence with skip/hookloader, a valid UK DCPC card and Digi‑tacho card, and have at least 6 months' experience. VISA relocation is not offered.

• UK DCPC card and Digi‑tacho card required.
• No DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements allowed.
• Must be up to date with WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users.
• Complete daily checks and report any defects.

Pay Rate: £20.73 (£18.50 basic + £2.23 holiday pay)

Hours: Monday to Friday (06:30 start times) - optional Saturday overtime

Licence: Class 2 licence with skip & hookloader

Experience: 6 months experience required

You will be operating a Class 2skip (hookloader) vehicle (a RoRo). 6 months previous experience is required.

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 months previous experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required. You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

You will a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
