Job summary

Fifth Recruitment are looking for a Class 2 Driver to operate a skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle in Rochford, delivering and collecting skips from commercial and residential sites. A Class 2 licence with hookloader, a UK DCPC card and a Digi‑tacho are required, along with at least 6 months’ driving experience.

You will work Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime, start around 06:30, and enjoy weekly pay and a competitive salary (£20.73 per hour, including holiday pay).

Qualifications

You will be operating a Class 2skip (hookloader) vehicle (a RoRo). 6 months previous experience is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating a Class 2skip (hookloader/RoRo) vehicle

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 months previous experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required. You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

You will a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
