Job summary

GI Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a client in Warwick. The role runs through the festive peak period with occasional multi-drop runs and on-the-job training provided.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, with an 05:00 start and 10 hours guaranteed per day; weekends are not required. Applicants must hold a Class 2/LGV C licence with at least one year of experience, a valid CPC and Tachograph, and be over 21 for insurance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks and complete defect paperwork.
• Possible multi-drop runs (up to 12 stops per shift).
• Support client operations during peak festive period.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Class 2 Driver - Shifts and Hours:

* Monday to Friday - no weekends!

* Start Times: 05:00 am

* 10 hours guaranteed per shift

Location: Warwick

This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham and the other surrounding areas.

GI Group are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a position with our client based in Warwick. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. This role is ongoing until Christmas

Class 2 Driver - The Role:

The Class 2 driver position is due to run until Christmas, supporting our client with their peak period during the Festive season. Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys, and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 12 per shift). This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job. The Class 2 driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

The candidate:

* Will hold a Class 2 / LGV C licence entitlement, with minimum 1 years experience

* Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph

* Will have no more than 6 points on licence (no TT/IN/CU/DR/DG/CD/DD codes)

* Will be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

* Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.

* Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
