Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver in Southampton to deliver refrigerated goods to customers on a multi-drop route. Start times are typically between 03:00 and 06:00, with some handball and load-securing required. Role emphasizes reliability, professionalism and customer-facing interactions.

Salary/pays: £17 per hour, or £19.05 per hour with holiday pay rolled-up. Ongoing work with weekly pay and dedicated payroll support through Pure Staff.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Confidence with strapping and securing loads.
• Good understanding of load security.
• Knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Southampton

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with one of our valued clients based in Southampton. The role entails delivering chilled and refrigerated goods to distributors. This role does require high levels of heavy lifting and morning starts. The Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop work to customers across your designated route. Start times tend to be between 0300 and 0600am.

This role involves delivering refrigerated goods therefore candidates must be comfortable carrying out some handball, load securing and multi-drop delivery with a refrigerated vehicle.

This is a customer-facing role, requiring a professional attitude and excellent communication skills when representing both Pure Staff and our client.
