Job summary

Pertemps Leicester are recruiting for a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a leading logistics company at Rugby Gateway. This temporary ongoing role offers regular shifts, weekly pay, and potential for long-term placement.

Role involves multi-drop deliveries, loading/unloading, daily vehicle checks, and high standards of customer service. Overtime paid after 9.6 hours with time-and-a-half and opportunities for long-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks is essential.
• Physically fit for loading/unloading.
• Reliable, professional with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the UK.
• Carry out collections as required.
• Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with health and safety procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs.

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Pay Rate: £17.31 per hour | £25.97 per hour after 9.6 hours worked (Time and a Half)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Delivery Driver to join a leading logistics company based at Rugby Gateway. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity offering regular work, weekly pay, and the potential for a long-term placement.

The Role

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the UK.
• Carry out collections as required.
• Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with health and safety procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at every delivery point.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused with excellent time management skills.
