Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Tipper Driver for our client in Langley, Buckinghamshire. You will operate Class 2 vehicles performing tipper work with training provided as needed, while completing daily paperwork and routine vehicle checks.

Requirements include a Class 2 licence, UK DCPC card, Digi‑tacho, and up to 6 points with no disqualifying endorsements. The role offers a regular Monday–Friday schedule with overtime on Saturdays and a pay rate of £16.82–£18.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Has a valid Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.
• Must have UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card.
• Candidate may have up to 6 penalty points; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operating Class 2 vehicles.
• Performing tipper work (training provided if required).
• Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness.
• Ensuring loads are placed and secured correctly.
• Completing daily paperwork accurately.

Job Title: Class 2 Tipper Driver

Pay Rate: £16.82 to £18.95 per hour (Pay: £16.82ph + £2.13 holiday pay = £18.95ph)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 start times)

Overtime: Saturdays/6th Shift available

Experience: 12 months Class 2 essential

Assessment: Yes - required before start

Class 2 Tipper Driver - role & Responsibilities

• Operating Class 2 vehicles
• Performing tipperwork (training provided if required)

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you

• You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially.

• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
• Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.
• You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
