Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Class 2 Driver for an early shift in Portsmouth. This role involves operating within a large fleet to collect and unload waste containers, with daily vehicle checks and accurate paperwork submission.

The position requires a current Cat C licence with CPC/Digi card, and preference is given to applicants with waste management experience. A full-time, on-site role with a 4am start and occasional Saturday work is available.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence and CPC/Digi card up to date.
• Experience in waste management is desirable.
• RCV experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty containers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.
• Accurately input information into onboard systems and keep paperwork up to date.
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure loads are secure and loads are clean.
