Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a full-time, temp to perm position in Newton Abbot. You will make multi-drop deliveries across the South West, with a minimum of eight hours’ pay per shift and early starts.

Role offers a stable pattern (Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat shifts), an on-site role with a modern fleet and ongoing support from the Acorn Driving Team. Ideal for reliable drivers seeking permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred.
• Knowledge of road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 8–12 multi-drop deliveries per day across the South West.
• Safely drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Complete deliveries accurately, safely and on time.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service at delivery locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a full-time temp to perm position with a well-established national business based in Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for consistent work, early starts and competitive pay, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You’ll be making multi-drop deliveries across the South West as part of a professional driving team, with a minimum of eight hours’ pay guaranteed per shift.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.


• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.


• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.


• Good knowledge of road transport regulations.
